Paul Miles
Chief Business Officer - Euroclear UK & International
Paul Miles is the Chief Business Officer and Executive Director of Euroclear UK & International. In his role, he is responsible for the execution of the UK business strategy and acts as the executive sponsor for the Euroclear UK & International transformation, overseeing product developments and commercial relationships across the UK market.
Prior to assuming this role, Paul was Head of Euroclear UK & International CEO Office and a member of its Management Committee from 2013 to 2017, with responsibility for Central Securities Depository Regulation related changes. He was the sponsor for business and technology changes and led the alignment of Euroclear UK & International strategic vision with the group strategy.
Prior to 2013, Paul was the Joint Chief Operations Officer of Euroclear UK & International, responsible for the day-to-day running of business operations.
Paul has been with Euroclear for 23 years, and prior to this he spent 14 years at The Bank of England.
